Day 22 Gratitude Challenge

It’s Friday, and the weekend has arrived. We have journeyed through three weeks of gratitude. Today is a perfect moment to reflect. What has unfolded over the past three weeks? Have you sensed any transformations?

Today marks an exciting moment in our challenge—it’s wildcard day! This is your opportunity to reflect on and express gratitude for three things in your life. Whether it’s a particular person, a cherished memory, or anything else that brings you joy, take a moment to appreciate those unique aspects that truly make a difference. Let’s celebrate what matters most to us!

You’ll be excited to know that you’ll soon have the chance to earn bonus points by jotting down these three things and sharing them with others. Here are my three!

  • I am grateful for the chance to explore nature and its beauty in the public parks both where I live and where I visit.
  • I am grateful to live in a country that values and protects freedom: the freedom to vote, work, and travel.
  • When it comes to travel, I’m grateful for the opportunities it brings. Whether it’s a weekend getaway, a short domestic vacation, or an international excursion, I appreciate these adventures.

Listen to yourself

This week I wrote about the importance of focus. The likelihood of achieving a goal is much greater if you know what you want and why you want it. In this busy, hectic and overstimulated world it is difficult to find focus and direction.

Take time this weekend to get away. Turn off your phone and listen. Listen to the birds. Listen to the wind in the trees. Just listen. The answers to your questions are within you but you have to listen. When you listen, it will become clear what direction your life needs to take. Have a great Labor Day weekend!
